So this morning- Dre and I took the kids to their Check ups at the Doctors. I was dreading this because I knew that they both were due for shots and I still hate having to do that! I hate the look on their faces when I have to be the one to hold them down and the get stuck and they have no idea why....booo!!
So Ayla got 5 shots and Brody had 3. Ugh. They were troopers and cried for less than a minute! Afterwards, Dre and I told them we were taking them out for a special treat and we went to Dennys for pancakes.( Brody loves the baseball pancakes!) We were there for less than 5 minutes when our waitress proceeded to dump her entire tray of drinks literally on top of my baby girls head. She went nuts screaming as she was drenched in ice cubes, diet Coke and Milk! Thanks for that Denny's! :(
We got home and got the kids in the shower to hose them off and put them down for naps. After they woke up- Dre took them outside and played in the yard with the hose. So simple- but they were both squealing and belly laughing for over an hour! Dre, my brother and I couldnt help but laugh right along with them! I so envy the ease of being a kid sometimes! :)
Since it is Wednesday- the boys went to gym tonight and out to dinner after and Ayla and I had a quiet night of reading and singing and doing our nails!! hhaha!
